
The main style of breathwork that I work with is a guided somatic breathwork journey, which includes a combination of activation (conscious, connected breathwork) and restorative (long, slow, deep breathwork) breathing techniques to elicit an altered state of consciousness in the breather.
As there are some contraindications to this form of breathwork, all potential clients will need to complete a questionnaire prior to ensure this kind of experience is suitable for them.

A Breathwork Journey
During a breathwork session, participants can drop into a deep trance state and access the subconscious mind, which is said to account for 95% of our reality. Breathwork is one of a few modalities, such as hypnotherapy, EFT, and NLP, that can be used to access and reprogram the subconscious mind.
Breathwork can invoke a profound journey into whatever state of consciousness is most relevant for the breather at the time. It can bring more energy and awareness to the body, releasing stored stress, repressed emotions, tension, and trauma. It can also activate both unconscious pain and ecstatic bliss as the life force guides us to where we need to awaken.
Through this form of breathwork, we can release stored stress, emotions, tension, and trauma.
It can also bring forth deep pain or ecstatic bliss, guiding us to a state of harmony in our Bodymind system.
